She looked up, words passing by her lips: "We can't see each other any more." He stayed silent, contemplating that very statement as one that had just previously passed through his mind, and watching as the look in her eyes gradually told her true feelings. Her feelings didn't back up the words she just spoke. She loved him. His heart stilled knowing that sometime in the future, he would find himself uttering that same phrase, but with a different look in his eyes--one that said the contrary.
